TOURNAMENTS

By submitting the online application, it is understood that this does not constitute automatic acceptance into the tournament. You will be notified by PMHA if your team is accepted. Please check your spam folder.  Your spot is not guaranteed until tournament fees are received.
If for any reason, the team is unable to attend after acceptance, the administrator must be notified immediately. Teams cancelling will be subject to forfeiture of their entry fee or a $100 penalty fee, depending on whether another team can be found as a replacement. There is also an additional $150 admin fee for cancellations less than one month before the start date to the tournament.
 

BC Hockey Official Team Roster must be submitted to the Tournament Chair or designate prior to tournament attendance.

Final acceptance of teams cannot be completed until PMHA receives application and payment. Teams selected for Penticton MHA tournaments are not selected exclusively on dates. Teams are selected from the Applications received by PMHA typically a couple of months before the Tournament, except for early season Tournaments.

In consideration of being accepted to participate in a PMHA tournament, related events and activities, the applicant agrees on behalf of the attending team, that PMHA will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss however caused and hereby releases and holds harmless PMHA, their officers, directors, coaches, agents and/or employees, other participants, arena officials and owners, sponsors and advertisers with respect to any and all injury, disability, or loss to person or property, whether caused by the negligence of the releases or otherwise.

Add $75. for teams outside of Canada.

Penticton Minor Hockey Association and it’s sponsors are proud to host tournaments throughout the year to give players of all ages, from throughout British Columbia and neighboring Provinces and States, a chance to come together in Penticton. Although typically small in comparison to other Associations Tournaments, Penticton MHA tries to host teams of similar caliber to strive for fun and competitive action for all teams.

Body Checking: Penticton Minor Hockey Association, consistent with OMAHA policies, limits body checking to Rep level tournaments (Tier 2 and Tier 3) in the U15 and U18 divisions only. Body checking, as defined by CHA rules, is NOT permitted for all other tournaments, but body contact is permitted.
