HAROLD GARDNER MINOR HOCKEY BURSARY
GENERAL
Bursary will be awarded to P.M.H.A registered members who apply and who best combine the qualifications set hereunder. The P.M.H.A. educational committee will determine the number and the amount of the bursaries each year.
The P.M.H.A. want to give recognition to their members who develop their academic career aspirations, at the same time nourishing their interest in hockey.
ELIGIBILITY
All bursary candidates must be currently P.M.H.A. registered members or former members who are in their graduating year of high school or have already graduated from high school at the time of application.
CONSIDERED ATTRIBUTES

Solid academic standing;

Good sportsmanship;

Hockey ability and performance or quality of contribution;

Level of school and community participation.
HOW TO APPLY

Complete the Harold Gardner Minor Hockey Bursary Application Form.

Copy of High School Transcript.

Acceptance/ application letter to College/University must be submitted with this application.

Course selection for enrolment.
SELECTION
A selection committee from P.M.H.A will review applications.
AVAILABILITY
The P.M.H.A. Bursary will be made available to the successful applicants after proof has been received that they are attending the Post-Secondary Institution of their choice. All cheques will be payable to the successful applicant. P.M.H.A. Bursary winners may defer receipt of their awards for a period no longer than one academic year, however, deferment requests must be submitted in writing and include an explanation.
DATE OF SUBMISSION
All applications and supporting letters must be received by the P.M.H.A. no later than March 31st of the current season.
