CLINICS:
Click the BC Hockey link for all coach clinics, dates & host associations. It is unknown when BC Hockey will list each clinic. Therefore, volunteers must continue to check the BC Hockey website for registration sign up and payment. Contact BC Hockey for assistance if required. Contact the Administrator for hockey ID#.

Volunteer Clinic Registration
Volunteers Registering for Respect in Sport, Coach 1, Coach 2, Dev 1 &/or Safety Clinics register at www.bchockey.net under the "Clinics" tab.
Criminal Record Check
All volunteers must submit a CRC application emailed notice from the Ministry of Justice, to the Administrator prior to participation with players for tryouts, practices, games, etc. The CRC is submitted online (see FORMS tab).
Respect in Sport (RIS)
The RIS online clinic is required for all volunteers. Be sure volunteers select "RIS for Activity Leaders". RIS expires every five years.
Concussion Awareness Training Tool (CATT)
All BC Hockey team officials on rostered teams, including on ice helpers and managers, must be qualified in the CATT prior to participation in any practice or game. The FREE online clinic takes approx 30 minutes. Once the volunteer completes the the course, please submit the emailed notification to the Administrator.

Coach 1 Clinic - required for Mini Vees, Initiation and Novice coaches.
Coach 2 Clinic - required for Atom-Midget recreation coaches.
Dev 1 Clinic - required for rep coaches.
HCSP - Safety online clinic - required for Safety People. HCSP expires every three years. There must be a Safety Person at each event.
MED - Making Ethical Decisions online clinic - required for rep coaches.
Volunteer Clinic Refunds
Volunteers must be rostered to a specific team during the current season in order to receive a refund.
REFUND: Submit "electronic receipt" from BC Hockey to the Administrator. Receipts must include registration with clinic name, volunteer name, date and $ amount. When attending the Coach 2 and Dev 1 clinics you are instructed to submit a signed form to BC Hockey with the post task you will do. You must also submit the electronic receipt emailed confirmation you receive from BC Hockey. Coach 1 refund available after attendance to the on ice session.
Development 1 post tasks are due December 15. BC Hockey won't accept after this date.
If BC Hockey has not submitted an email to you by March 31st, then it is the volunteer's responsibility to contact BC Hockey at info@bchockey.net requesting an emailed confirmation that they have received your post task.
Receipts must be submitted no later than March 31st to the Administrator. Refunds will NOT be eligible after March 31st.
